When is payday? OCDC currently pays employees on the last business day of each month and is transitioning to twice-monthly payroll.

Detention Officer starting pay: $40,000 with evaluation-based increases. Detention officers can promote to detention officer at $41,508.60 annually and, at one year with strong performance and attendance, to corporal at $45,521.28 annually.

When do health benefits begin? Qualification begins on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
